Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking an Account Specialist to drive sales by identifying opportunities and educating customers on Motion products through technical presentations. You will partner with Account Representatives in an assigned territory to deliver product knowledge and win new business.

The role requires high school diploma or GED and industry and sales experience, with knowledge of power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial products.

Responsibilities

• Increase revenue and profitability through new business and development of existing accounts.
• Interact face-to-face with customers to foster relationships and satisfaction.
• Understand complex customer requirements for customized quoting.
• Deliver effective sales presentations and meet technical requirements.
• Ensure customer technical requirements are met.
• Assist with on-site troubleshooting of customer concerns.
• Identify, quote, engineer, and close product and solution sales with local customers.
• Provide technical support as required.
• Coordinate vendor resources to build relationships and support sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
