Job summary

Franklin Industries is seeking a Sales Representative to drive profitable growth through new customer acquisition, account development, and competitive bidding. You will manage opportunities from initial contact to quotation, order coordination, and delivery follow-up, working with the VP of Sales, production, and Logistics.

Ideal candidates have strong sales and CRM experience, negotiate effectively, and can travel for meetings.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in sales, account management, business development, or related customer-facing responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of sales processes and business communication.
• Ability to develop customer relationships and identify opportunities.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to travel for customer meetings and business development activities.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related discipline is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial products, or steel products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customer accounts and identify opportunities for profitable sales growth.
• Maintain and expand existing customer relationships, including travel to visit customers.
• Conduct outreach via telephone, email, visits, and other channels.
• Prepare accurate quotations using approved pricing and processes.
• Coordinate orders with production and logistics personnel.
• Submit bids and quotations within established deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity and opportunities.
• Report activities and opportunities to the VP of Sales & Marketing.
