Job summary

First Call Direct Hire is seeking an experienced Senior Strategic Sales Account Manager for a growing manufacturing organization in Franklin, Indiana. You will own key accounts, negotiate commercial terms, and partner with internal teams to drive profitable growth.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, 7+ years of sales experience, and proven ability to build trusted relationships, communicate effectively, and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of related sales experience or an equivalent combination.
• Manufacturing or related industry experience preferred.
• Proven ability to develop and manage strategic customer relationships.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned strategic customer accounts.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key contacts and decision-makers.
• Identify and pursue new sales and growth opportunities.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with company objectives.
• Partner with sales leadership to set account goals, strategies, and growth initiatives.
• Develop pursuit strategies for new business opportunities and support RFQ processes.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, contracts, and other commercial conditions.
• Monitor account profitability and drive performance improvements.
• Forecast and track sales activity, opportunities, and metrics.
• Coordinate internal resources to meet customer expectations.
