Prime Controls, L.P. is seeking a QA/QC Field Inspector to perform quality inspections and testing of field-installed instrumentation and control panels. You will work under NEC, UL 508A & 698A standards and site drawings to ensure compliance and reliability.

The role requires an AA in Electrical Technology or equivalent and a state Journeyman license, with 5+ years of related experience. You’ll routinely use test equipment and collaborate with teams while upholding safety and environmental

Qualifications

• Associates degree or tech school background in electrical technology.
• 5+ years in QA/QC or field inspection related to electrical/controls.
• State Journeyman License required.
• Ability to power and test 120 VAC, 24VDC, 480V safely.
• Experience interpreting P&IDs and wiring diagrams.

Responsabilités

• Develop written reports with improvement opportunities from inspections.
• Communicate findings to team to drive performance improvements.
• Analyze quality findings and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Operate electrical test equipment and verify BOMs for panels.
• Verify wiring origins, tags, and components for accuracy.
• Adhere to safety and environmental rules; perform duties as assigned.
