Job summary

Prime Controls is seeking a QA/QC Field Inspector to perform quality control inspections and testing of field-installed instrumentation and control panels in accordance with NEC, UL 508A & 698A standards. Qualifications

• Associate degree (AA) Electrical Technology or equivalent.
• 2 years related experience.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand electrical wiring, fabrication, and testing of control panels under UL 508A/698A environments.
• Inspect instruments and control systems including PLCs and instrument loops (4-20mA).
• Read and interpret P&IDs and tubing drawings for proper installation.
• Trace wire origins, verify BOMs, and document findings with clear corrective actions.
• Prepare written reports and communicate improvements to the team.
• Adhere to safety/environmental rules and perform other duties as assigned.
