Prime Controls L.P. is seeking a QA/QC Field Inspector to perform quality control inspections and testing of field-installed instrumentation and control panels. This role requires reading P&IDs, testing high- and low-voltage systems, and ensuring compliance with NEC and UL standards.

Candidates should have an AA in Electrical Technology or equivalent, 5+ years in a related field, and a State Journeyman License. The position may require overtime and travel to sites nationwide.

Qualificações

• Associate degree or equivalent in Electrical Technology or related field.
• 5+ years in a related QA/QC or field inspection role.
• State Journeyman License required.
• Ability to test and power up 120 VAC, 24 VDC, and 480 VAC systems.
• Proficient in reading P&IDs and related drawings.
• Experience with electrical panel testing and wiring verification.
• Familiarity with field software tools (ProCore, CxAlloy, BIM360 Field).
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Perform QA/QC inspections and testing of field-installed instrumentation and control panels.
• Develop written reports with factual findings and improvement opportunities.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to the team to improve performance.
• Trace wiring origins and verify correct wiring tags and BOMs.
• Adhere to NEC, UL 508A & 698A standards and safety rules.
• Utilize electrical test equipment to verify component functionality and safety.
• Study drawings and specifications to ensure correct installation and testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
