Prime Controls, L.P. is seeking a QA/QC Field Inspector to perform quality control inspections and testing of field installed instrumentation devices and control panels, following NEC, UL 508A & 698A standards. Responsibilities include developing reports, communicating findings, and driving corrective actions on site.

You will analyze quality findings, coordinate with teams to minimize issues, and ensure safe, compliant operation of field equipment across projects.

Qualifications

• AA in Electrical Technology or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• 5+ years of related field experience.
• Journeyman License required.
• Power up/test 120 VAC, 24VDC, and 480V electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams.
• Knowledge of NEC, UL 508A & 698A standards and safety practices.
• Capable of writing clear corrective actions and follow-up.

Responsabilités

• Develop written reports detailing opportunities for improvement.
• Communicate findings to team members and drive improvements.
• Analyze quality findings and suggest corrective measures.
• Properly use electrical test equipment to verify installations.
• Visually verify BOMs for panels and devices.
• Test components, trace wiring origins, and ensure proper tagging.
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations at all times.
