Job summary

Prime Controls, L.P. is seeking a QA/QC Field Inspector to perform quality control inspections and testing of field-installed instrumentation devices and fabricated instrument and control panels, following NEC, UL 508A & 698A standards and project drawings.

Candidates should have an Associate degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent, a State Journeyman License, 5+ years of related experience, and the ability to power up and test 120 VAC, 24 VDC, and 480 V systems, with overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• State Journeyman License.

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality Control inspections and testing of field installed instrumentation devices and fabricated Instrument and Control Panels.
• Develop written reports illustrating opportunities for improvement based on factual findings.
• Communicate findings to team members to improve performance based on quality inspections.
• Visually verify BOMs for panels and instrumentation devices and test electrical components.
