Zusammenfassung

Prime Controls, L.P. is seeking a QA/QC Field Inspector to perform inspections and testing of field-installed instrumentation and control panels. You will follow NEC, UL 508A & 698A standards and site drawings to ensure compliance and quality.

Responsibilities include reporting opportunities for improvement, communicating results, and ensuring safety. Requires an Electrical Technology AA, 5+ years of experience, and a State Journeyman License; travel may be involved.

Qualifikationen

• AA in Electrical Technology or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• 5+ years in a related field with electrical instrumentation experience.
• State Journeyman License is required.
• Ability to power/test 120 VAC, 24VDC, and 480V circuits following safety practices.
• Ability to read P&IDs and wiring diagrams for correct installation.
• Familiarity with NEC/UL 508A & 698A standards.
• ProCore, CxAlloy or BIM360 Field usage preferred.

Aufgaben

• Develop written reports showing opportunities for improvement based on findings.
• Communicate inspection results to team to guide performance improvements.
• Analyze quality findings and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Test electrical components and verify wiring tags and BOMs.
• Ensure safety and environmental rules are followed; support site construction schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.
