Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking an Account Manager in Billings, MT to lead effective sales efforts in a defined area and grow new customer accounts. You will advise customers on service center capabilities and introduce new services while cross-selling IPS product lines with a focus on distribution and motor/power management solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of experience operating a vehicle with a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel 40% of the time.
• 4-year degree in Engineering or other technical applications preferred.
• Sharp analytical thinking and reasoning abilities.
• 3+ years of selling experience with similar product applications in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop a list of prospective customers with the business development team, determine sales strategy, call on customers and follow up with visits.
• Analyze and understand customer requirements.
• Coordinate the efforts of technical specialists for proposals for complex customer modifications.
• Present proposals to customers.
• Establish long-term customer relationships utilizing sales techniques, policies and philosophies of the company.
