Job summary

UniFirst is seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment across multiple locations. You will work with large washers/dryers, boilers, conveyors, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems, following blueprints, manuals, and engineering specs.

The role requires reading schematics, using hand and power tools, performing Lockout/Tagout and confined space procedures, and welding (MIG, TIG, ARC).

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months repairing industrial processing equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Prior welding experience: MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, brazing.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment across locations.
• Ensure safe operation of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Travel to multiple company locations as required.
• Provide maintenance information to partners.
