Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install and troubleshoot industrial equipment across multiple locations. The role covers large-capacity washers, boilers, conveyors, and related systems, with adherence to safety policies and established procedures.

The position requires reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and welding (MIG/TIG/ARC) as needed. Travel to various company sites is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months’ work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics preferred; reading maintenance literature in English required.
• Experience with Lockout/Tagout procedures preferred.
• Prior welding experience (MIG, TIG, ARC) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Installs and troubleshoots industrial equipment, systems, and components.
• Performs maintenance tasks following safety policies and procedures.
• Travel to multiple Company locations to perform job duties.
• Provides maintenance information to appropriate partners.
• Performs welding and installation of machinery and systems as required.
