Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial equipment across multiple locations. You will work with boilers, conveyors, washers, dryers, and related pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, following blueprints and manufacturer instructions.

Responsibilities include welding (MIG/TIG/ARC), performing lockout/tagout and confined space procedures as appropriate, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required; training or military experience considered.
• Lockout/Tagout experience preferred; reading maintenance literature in English required.

Responsibilities

• Installs and troubleshoots industrial equipment and components following blueprints and specs.
• Performs maintenance in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
• Travel to multiple company locations to perform duties.
• Operates welding processes (MIG/TIG/ARC) and related tasks.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment and adheres to safety regulations.
