Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to install and troubleshoot industrial equipment and support maintenance across multiple locations. You will work with washers, dryers, conveyors, boilers, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems, following blueprints and safety procedures.

The role requires welding experience (MIG, TIG, ARC), tool proficiency, and the ability to read schematics and maintenance literature in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience repairing industrial processing equipment.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Lockout/Tagout experience preferred.
• Prior welding experience (MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, brazing).

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot industrial equipment and components.
• Performs maintenance per safety policies and procedures.
• Travel to multiple Company locations as required.
• Provides maintenance information to appropriate partners.
• Performs welding activities per specs (MIG, TIG, ARC).
• Follow blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer instructions.
