Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment across multiple locations. You will work with large capacity washers and dryers, pneumatic and steam systems, conveyors, and boilers, following blueprints and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, reading schematics, welding with MIG/TIG/ARC techniques, and ensuring a safe, clean work environment while traveling to company sites as required.

Qualifications

• 6 months’ work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read blueprints and schematics in English.

Responsibilities

• Installs and troubleshoots industrial equipment including washers, dryers, conveyors, and boilers.
• Performs maintenance following safety policies and procedures.
• Reads blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications to guide repairs.
• Performs welding (MIG, TIG, ARC) and related fabrication tasks as needed.
• Travel to multiple company locations to perform maintenance duties.
