Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a maintenance technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial equipment such as large capacity washers, conveyors, and boilers. You will follow blueprints and safety procedures, and travel to multiple UniFirst locations to perform maintenance tasks.

The role requires reading schematics, using hand and power tools, and performing welding (MIG/TIG/ARC). A high school diploma or GED is required, with 6 months of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months repairing industrial processing equipment in a production setting.
• High school diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and maintenance literature in English; lockout/tagout experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot industrial equipment including washers, conveyors, and boilers.
• Perform maintenance following safety policies and procedures.
• Travel to multiple company locations to perform work.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and operation manuals.
• Welding activities (MIG, TIG, ARC) and related fabrication.
