Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a maintenance technician to install, troubleshoot, and service industrial equipment across multiple locations. You will perform preventive maintenance on washers, conveyors, boilers, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems while adhering to safety policies.

The role requires reading blueprints and schematics, using hand and power tools, and welding as needed. A 6-month background in equipment maintenance and a valid license are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months’ work experience repairing industrial processing equipment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; English maintenance literature.
• Lockout/Tagout experience preferred; welding experience (MIG, TIG, ARC) desired.

Responsibilities

• Installs and troubleshoots industrial equipment and systems per manuals and schematics.
• Maintains safe operation of machinery and components; follows safety policies.
• Travel to multiple Company locations to perform maintenance tasks.
• Performs welding (MIG, TIG, ARC) and related tasks.
• Provides maintenance information to partners and supports installation work.
