Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, and service industrial equipment across multiple locations. You will work with washers, dryers, conveyors, boilers, and related systems, following blueprints and safety procedures.

The role requires understanding of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, welding skills (MIG/TIG/ARC), and the ability to read maintenance literature. Travel to various sites is required.

Qualifications

• Equipment maintenance knowledge – minimum of 6 months’ work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics preferred.
• Lockout/Tagout experience is preferred.
• Prior welding experience including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing

Responsibilities

• Installs and troubleshoots industrial equipment, systems and components per blueprints and specs.
• Performs maintenance tasks following safety policies and procedures.
• Position requires travel to multiple Company locations to perform job.
• Provides maintenance information to appropriate partners.
• Welding of machinery components (MIG, TIG, ARC) as needed.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by manager.
