Qualifications

  • Must have a High school diploma or GED and preferred two-year technical degree.
  • Two-year technical degree is preferred and required to operate maintenance systems.
  • Candidate should be able to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to work overtime and lift up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize hand/power tools, precision measurement tools, and electronic testing devices.
  • Ensure safe operation of machinery and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
  • Follow blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications.
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems using precision instruments.
  • Perform boiler chemical and wastewater testing and adjust as needed.
  • Record utility meter readings and take corrective actions.
  • Inspect and maintain motors, belts, shafts, and lubrication points.
  • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
