Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment across multiple facilities. The role covers large capacity washers and dryers, conveyors, boilers, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems, with a focus on safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include following blueprints and manuals, performing Lockout/Tagout and confined space procedures, welding (MIG/TIG/ARC), and traveling between Company locations to service equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience repairing industrial processing equipment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; maintenance literature in English preferred.
• Lockout/Tagout experience is preferred.
• Prior welding experience MIG/TIG/ARC, cutting, and brazing is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot industrial equipment including washers, boilers, conveyors, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Perform maintenance following safety policies and procedures.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and operation manuals.
• Travel to multiple company locations to service equipment as needed.
• Welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.
