Job summary

UniFirst is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to install and troubleshoot complex equipment across multiple site locations. The role requires hands-on welding and brazing, reading blueprints, and conducting safety procedures to maintain reliable operations.

You will travel as needed to service large washers, conveyors, boilers, and related systems. Job duties include using hand and power tools, following specifications, and performing Lockout/Tagout and confined space procedures when

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Equipment maintenance knowledge – minimum 6 months’ work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics preferred.
• Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English required.
• Experience using hand & power tools required.
• Lockout/Tagout experience is preferred.
• Prior welding experience including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems per specs.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
• Travel to multiple company locations to perform maintenance.
• Perform welding (MIG, TIG, ARC) and brazing per requirements.
• Provide maintenance information to partners.
• Read blueprints and schematics; use hand and power tools.
• Perform Lockout/Tagout and Confined Space procedures when appropriate.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
