Job summary

Dow Inc. in Alberta's Fort Saskatchewan is seeking Industrial Equipment Operators to support Hydrocarbons, Solution Polyethylene, Gas Phase Polyethylene, and Power & Utilities.

You'll monitor process equipment, conduct field checks, operate control systems, and maintain safety standards while pursuing 3rd–4th class ABSA certifications and day-shift training over approx. 3 years. Travel to nearby facilities is required for training.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Progressing toward an ABSA 4th class certification or higher.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• A current and valid Canadian Drivers License.
• Eligible to work legally in Canada (no visa support available)

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize plant operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain safety and operational efficiency.
• Follow Dow's policies for Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance.
• Participate in 12-hour rotating shifts once plant commissioning starts (anticipated late 2026).
• Dedicate approximately 3 years to day shift training, ensuring skill development and readiness.
