Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking Industrial Equipment Operators to support Alberta operations in Canada. The role involves monitoring process equipment, adjusting control systems, and maintaining safety standards across Hydrocarbons, Solution Polyethylene, Gas Phase Polyethylene, and Power & Utilities.

Expect 12-hour shifts and long-term day shift training to prepare for certifications. Candidates should have a high school diploma, ABSA certification progress, and be eligible to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Progressing toward an ABSA 4th class certification or higher.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• A current and valid Canadian Drivers License.
• Eligible to work legally in Canada (no visa support available).

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize plant operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain safety and operational efficiency.
• Follow Dow's Environmental, Health, and Safety policies.
• Participate in 12-hour rotating shifts once plant commissioning starts (late 2026).
• Dedicate approximately 3 years to day shift training and skill development.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Two-year diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology or Power Engineering Technology

ABSA 4th class certification or higher (in progress)
