Job summary

Dow Alberta Operations in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, seeks Industrial Equipment Operators to support Hydrocarbons, Solution Polyethylene, Gas Phase Polyethylene, and Power & Utilities. You will monitor plant performance, adjust controls, and prepare equipment for maintenance while adhering to safety standards.

You'll train for 12-hour rotating shifts (late 2026) and may travel for specialized training and certification opportunities across sites in North America.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Progressing toward ABSA 4th class certification or higher.
• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in Canada.
• Current Canadian driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize plant operations across areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Follow Dow policies for EH&S compliance and site standards.
• Participate in 12-hour rotating shifts once commissioning begins (late 2026).
• Travel for specialized training and certification opportunities.
