Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking Industrial Equipment Operators to support Alberta Operations in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, with responsibilities across Hydrocarbons, Solution Polyethylene, Gas Phase Polyethylene, and Power & Utilities.

You will monitor process equipment, adjust controls, and prepare machinery for maintenance while upholding safety and environmental standards. The role includes training toward ABSA certifications and travel for specialized training.

Qualifications

• Must have/completing ABSA 4th class certification or higher.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two-year diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology or Power Engineering Technology preferred.
• 1+ year of operational experience in process/utility environments.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize plant operations across Hydrocarbons, Solution Polyethylene, Gas Phase Polyethylene, and Power & Utilities.
• Perform field checks, adjust control systems, and isolate/prepare machinery for maintenance.
• Follow Dow's Operating Discipline, Life Critical Standards, and EH&S policies.
• Travel for training and certification opportunities as needed.
