Job summary

Dow Alberta Operations in Fort Saskatchewan, Canada, seeks Industrial Equipment Operators to optimize plant performance across Hydrocarbons, Solution Polyethylene, Gas Phase Polyethylene, and Power & Utilities. You’ll monitor equipment, perform field checks, isolate machinery for maintenance, and uphold safety standards.

Expect 12-hour rotating shifts during commissioning (late 2026) and ~3 years of day shift training with opportunities to train at sites in New Orleans, LA, USA and Prentiss, AB,

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
ABSA 4th class certification progress toward higher levels.
Must be 18+ and eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize plant operations.
Follow safety, health, and environmental standards.
Operate and supervise control systems and field equipment.
Collaborate with teams during rotating shifts and training.
Support 3-year training path and certification progression.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

ABSA 4th class certification (in progress)

18 years or older

Canadian Driver's License

Legal work in Canada (no visa support)
