Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Lead Engineer to advance our Continuous Improvement program across warehousing, transportation and manufacturing operations. You will lead data-driven CI initiatives, apply lean methods, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth.

You will mentor CI staff, manage project portfolios, and drive Kaizen events and value stream mapping to deliver measurable performance gains and sustainment across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain; MBA or MS preferred.
• 7+ years of related experience in warehousing, transportation, or manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, SQL; advanced Excel and Visio skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact CI projects across the operation.
• Develop and execute continuous improvement plans to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth.
• Coach teams on lean principles and CI methods; facilitate Kaizen events and Value Stream Mapping.
