Job summary

Syensqo in the United States invites entry-level chemical or mechanical engineers to join the Foundations for the Future Industrial Development Program. This 18–24 month rotational program places you on diverse assignments across our manufacturing sites nationwide.

You’ll relocate 2–3 times, lead improvement projects, and develop analytics, safety and quality expertise while working with a team of mentors and manufacturing leaders. English fluency is required; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering obtained between December 2024 and Spring/Summer 2025
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Successful completion of an internship or co‑op in relevant environment (e.g., Specialty Chemical, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, Food & Beverage)
• Willingness to relocate for 18–24 month rotations across US sites
• Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus
• Familiarity with MS Office and Google Suite is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead production performance improvement projects and support engineering across safety, environment, quality, and capacity
• Analyze and improve current processes; manage manufacturing excellence projects
• Coordinate between internal and external stakeholders and interface with purchasing and construction for project execution
• Deliver engineering deliverables and participate in failure analyses and cost improvements
• Deploy research and innovation strategies within own perimeter and manage a portfolio of projects
