Job summary

JLL is seeking an Electrician for our Lake Orion, MI site to maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems across large manufacturing facilities. You will work with multi-skilled teams to ensure uptime, safety and efficiency.

The role requires a 2-year electrical trade background or equivalent, a Journeyman license or plan to obtain within 90 days, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. Union position, 1st shift, on-site work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years electrical trade schooling or equivalent training.
• Journeyman license or equivalent industrial certification or plan to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong knowledge of electrical/instrumentation/control systems in industrial environments.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and local electrical codes.
• Physically able to operate tools and work in confined spaces.
• Available for 24-hour call-in, overtime, weekends and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/instrumentation/control systems in large manufacturing facilities.
• Plan and execute installation, testing, and maintenance of power distribution systems and equipment.
• Diagnose faulty wiring and electronic controls using blueprints and diagrams.
• Document work in CMMS with hours and completion details.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff and clients to ensure safe, compliant work.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and adhere to safety rules.
