Job summary

JLL is seeking an Electrician to support large-scale manufacturing facilities in Michigan. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems to maximize uptime and safety.

You will read blueprints, interpret diagrams, and work with CMMS to log work orders and preventive maintenance tasks. Ideal candidates have an electrical background, journeyman-level certification or equivalent, and the ability to obtain a license within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and formal electrical training.
• Industry experience with electrical/instrumentation/control systems in manufacturing.
• Journeyman or equivalent certification preferred; willingness to obtain license within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/instrumentation/control systems in large facilities.
• Plan and execute installation, testing, and maintenance of power distribution equipment.
• Diagnose faults using blueprints and diagrams; ensure safety and compliance.
• Document work in CMMS with accurate hours and completion details.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams and client operations on preventive maintenance.
• Work overtime or on-call as needed and respond to critical facility needs.
