Job summary

JLL in Pontiac, MI seeks an experienced Electrician to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, building automation, and electrical infrastructure in a union environment. The role blends hands-on electrical work with systems maintenance, offering strong UAW benefits and competitive pay.

The ideal candidate has a Journeyman Electrician credential or MI card, strong reading of prints/schematics, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification or MI Electrician card required.
• Read and interpret electrical prints and schematics accurately.
• Proficient with MS Office and documentation.
• Current forklift and aerial lift license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair manufacturing process equipment, pumps, motors, and speed/feed systems.
• Service building automation systems and calibrate meters; support HVAC and mechanicals.
• Perform safety PMs, respond to work orders within 24 hours, and report environmental PMs.
• Manage spare parts inventories and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Adhere to pre-task planning, safety training, and IPMP compliance.
