Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle is seeking an Electrician for 1st shift at our Orion, MI site. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across large manufacturing facilities, working with maintenance teams to ensure uptime and safety.

Responsibilities include wiring plan execution, reading schematics, and documenting work in CMMS, with a focus on proactive maintenance and compliance with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; electrical trade schooling or apprenticeship.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics; understand OSHA codes.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and climb ladders; willing to work overtime/call-ins.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/instrumentation/control systems in large facilities.
• Plan and install electrical apparatus and power distribution systems.
• Read blueprints and diagnose wiring faults.
• Document work in CMMS with hours and deadlines.
• Coordinate with clients and maintenance staff on safe approaches.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and adhere to safety rules.
