Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Union Electrician for 1st shift at our Lake Orion, MI site. You will maintain and repair electrical systems in large manufacturing facilities, read blueprints, and support preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.

The role requires a Journeyman license or equivalent, OSHA knowledge, and the ability to work overtime and in diverse environments. Union position with UAW, on-site in Lake Orion, MI.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or state equivalent; two years of electrical trade schooling or apprenticeship.
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification, or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings; knowledge of OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/instrumentation/control building equipment and systems in large manufacturing facilities.
• Plan and execute assembly, installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of electrical apparatus and power distribution systems.
• Diagnose and correct faulty wiring or electrical difficulties; read blueprints and schematics.
• Document all work in CMMS with hours and completion details by deadlines.
• Interact with clients and maintenance staff to determine safe, compliant approaches to tasks.
