Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) seeks an experienced Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems across large-scale manufacturing sites. You will read blueprints, diagnose problems, and ensure reliable power distribution and safety compliance.

Work includes preventive maintenance and coordinating with facilities teams. This is a 2nd shift, on-site role in Lake Orion, MI with opportunities to grow within JLL's operations network and develop specialized skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state equivalent required.
• Two years electrical trade schooling or equivalent training/apprenticeship.
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification, or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong knowledge of electrical/instrumentation/control systems in industrial settings.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and local electrical codes.
• Physically capable of using tools, ladders and lifting heavy loads.
• Comfort working in confined spaces and on roofs.
• Available for 24/7 call-in and overtime/weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair electrical/instrumentation/controls for large facilities.
• Plan and perform assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Diagnose wiring issues from blueprints and diagrams.
• Document work in CMMS with hours and completion details.
• Coordinate with clients and maintenance staff on safe approaches.
