Job summary

JLL seeks an Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across large-scale manufacturing facilities in Lake Orion, MI. The role emphasizes safety, downtime minimization, and collaboration with maintenance teams and client operations.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, planning installation and maintenance of equipment, and documenting work in the CMMS. A Journeyman license or equivalent is preferred, with readiness to obtain within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state equivalent required.
• Two years of electrical trade schooling or equivalent training/apprenticeship.
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong knowledge of electrical/instrumentation/control systems in industrial settings.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/instrumentation/control systems in large manufacturing facilities.
• Plan and execute installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment and power distribution systems.
• Read blueprints and diagrams to diagnose issues and implement fixes.
• Document work in CMMS with hours and completion details.
