Job summary

Prime Controls is seeking a QA/QC Field Inspector to perform inspections and testing of field-installed instrumentation and control panels in accordance with NEC, UL 508A & 698A standards and site drawings.

You will analyze findings, prepare reports, and collaborate with teams to implement corrective actions, ensuring safety and quality on site. The role requires 5+ years in a related field and a two-year electrical technology background.

Qualifications

• AA Electrical Technology or two-year technical degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to power up and test 120 VAC, 24 VDC, and 480 V systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections and testing of field-installed instruments and control panels.
• Develop written reports with improvement opportunities based on findings.
• Communicate findings to team to drive corrective actions and improve performance.
