Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Superintendent I to plan, manage and execute all aspects of assigned projects. You’ll lead safety, subcontractor management and scheduling to achieve timely, profitable completion, under JE Dunn’s leadership framework.

You will coordinate with owners, design teams and authorities, manage timecards, and support procurement while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred in construction management/engineering or related field.
• 3+ years construction experience with 1+ years field supervision experience.
• Must be able to manage budgets and deadlines across a project lifecycle.
• Ability to lead safety initiatives and manage subcontractors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and mentor staff to maintain injury-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors, organization of overall job and workflow.
• Oversee project budget, costs, and reporting using project management systems.
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate site care and control; lead project meetings (standups, trade, OAC).
• Prepare and manage project schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Assist in procurement processes and selection of formwork, tools, and equipment.
• Support project closeouts with owner, architect and authorities.
