Job summary

JE Dunn Construction invites applications for a Superintendent 1 role in our Advanced Facilities Group. You will plan, manage and execute all aspects of assigned projects, overseeing materials, equipment, and people to ensure timely, profitable completion aligned with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

Responsibilities include leading safety culture, coordinating subcontractors, managing budgets, and maintaining project documentation and schedules with the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years construction experience and 1+ years field supervision required.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of project safety culture and enforce an injury-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversee project staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate site care, custody and control; lead daily standups and progress meetings.
• Prepare and manage project schedule with Project Manager; track budget/costs.
