Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. in the United States seeks a Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent - Industrial to help manage project schedules, safety programs, and site coordination.

You will work with project managers and subcontractors to ensure quality, timeliness, and budget adherence across industrial builds. The role requires 2–5 years in commercial construction, a high school diploma (degree preferred), and strong software skills (ProCore, MS Office, Adobe, BlueBeam).

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years of commercial construction experience, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Tenant renovations, service work, occupied spaces, weekend work, and fast-paced project experience are a plus.
• Project lead experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with sector software: Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam.
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
• Ability to walk/stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work with project manager in formulating project schedule, ensure proper methods and sequence of installation.
• Maintain HITT quality standards for all aspects of the project.
• Maintain good working relationships with subcontractors and community stakeholders.
• Ensure complete, accurate daily documentation of work orders/tickets and understand subcontractor scope to avoid unnecessary change orders.
• Develop and organize the site team, arrange temporary facilities/utilities, and identify long lead items.
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred and safety inspections support.
