Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc is seeking an Industrial Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent to support project scheduling, field coordination, and safety administration. You will manage daily site activities, document progress, and ensure adherence to budget and quality standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the project manager, maintaining subcontractor relations, and driving timely closeout with owner/architect acceptance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business strongly preferred
• 2–5 years’ experience in commercial construction, including tenantRenovations/work in occupied spaces/residential projects considered a plus
• Project lead experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Work with project manager to formulate project schedule and ensure sequence of installation
• Maintain quality standards across all project aspects
• Maintain good relationships with subcontractors and stakeholders
• Document daily activities and site conditions; manage punch list and closeout process
• Organize site team and identify long-lead items needing expediting
