Job summary

HITT Contracting seeks an Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent - Industrial for Hurt, VA. The role supports planning, scheduling, safety, and coordination across site teams and subcontractors on a long-duration industrial campus project.

Responsibilities include maintaining daily site documentation, enforcing quality standards, and facilitating timely closeout. Per diem support provided; travel out of town may be required for the duration of the project.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 4-year degree in construction, engineering, or business strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years experience in commercial or industrial construction.
• Experience with ProCore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, BlueBeam.
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Formulate the project schedule with the project manager.
• Ensure installation methods and sequences follow the plan.
• Maintain quality standards on all project aspects.
• Foster good relationships with subcontractors and community.
• Document daily work orders/tickets accurately and promptly.
• Identify long-lead items and expedite as needed.
