Job summary

Motion Industries seeks an Account Specialist-Belt to drive sales of belting products by directly engaging customers and building strong relationships. You will assess needs, propose solutions, and develop bids and presentations for growth.

You will collaborate with the Branch Manager on planning to reach goals, managing time to prioritize high ROI opportunities, and participate in additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of industrial products: power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic and mill supply.
• Knowledge of supply chain systems.
• Reliable, organized, detailed, and focused.
• Moderate computer skills, including email communication.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to multitask and manage time well.

Responsibilities

• Sells directly to customers primarily through face-to-face interactions to foster relationships.
• Assesses customer needs and suggests appropriate products and solutions.
• Generates new business, cross sells, and repeat sells by developing and implementing sales strategies.
• Develops and delivers sales bids, proposals, and presentations and conducts product demonstrations.
• Works with Branch Manager to provide business planning to reach product and sales goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
