Graybar is seeking a Sales Engineer - Industrial Automation to support sales of high-tech automation and control products and collaborate with branch personnel to identify opportunities that satisfy customer needs. You will specify products, recommend inventories, and inform staff and customers about new automation developments.
The role requires explaining complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, plus extensive travel to serve customers and partners.
Formación
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and team-building abilities.
- Ability to work with management to evaluate customer needs.
- Ability to present complex solutions to non-technical staff.
- Ability to present orally and in writing to internal and external contacts.
Responsabilidades
- Specify products to meet customer requirements and needs.
- Recommend inventory of automation products.
- Inform sales staff and customers of new developments in automation technology.
- Provide technical services for operation and maintenance of automation equipment.
- Provide technical support to customers and company personnel and update on new products.
