Graybar Electric Company, Inc. seeks a Sales Engineer – Industrial Automation to support the sales of high-tech automation and control products. You will work with branch personnel to identify opportunities and meet customer needs.

Responsibilities include specifying products, recommending inventories, informing staff and customers of new developments, and delivering technical services for operation and maintenance. A 2-year degree and 1+ year sales experience are required; travel is extensive.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant sales/marketing/field experience
• Associate degree or technical college diploma
• 4+ years of experience preferred
• Knowledge of automation and control products
• Engineering principles related to automation
• Knowledge of supplier automation products
• Communication skills
• Interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Ability to work with management to evaluate customer needs
• Present complex solutions to non-technical staff
• Presentations to internal and external contacts
• Willingness to travel
