Graybar is seeking a Sales Engineer - Industrial Automation to help specify products that meet customer needs and to work with branch staff to identify opportunities for automation solutions. You will advise on product inventories and communicate updates on automation technologies.

The role includes delivering technical services and support for operation and maintenance, plus presenting complex solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year of progressively responsible sales/field experience
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent
• 4+ years experience preferred
• Knowledge of high-tech automation and control products
• Knowledge of engineering principles related to customer automation products
• Knowledge of suppliers' automation products
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and team-building abilities
• Ability to present complex solutions to non-technical staff
• Ability to travel extensively
