Job summary

Motion Industries seeks an Account Representative I to grow the book of business by converting competitors' work and expanding mid-sized accounts into large accounts. You will maintain customer satisfaction through regular contact and expectation management.

Key duties include lead generation, face‑to‑face customer interactions, and coordinating vendor resources to support sales. Travel and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 0–2 years of experience.
• Knowledge of industrial products: power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to influence customers and maintain relationships.
• Ability to take initiative and multitask; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Increase revenue through new business and growth of existing accounts.
• Generate new leads by networking, cold calling and research.
• Interact face-to-face with customers to build relationships and satisfaction.
• Understand complex customer requirements for customized quotes.
• Deliver sales presentations and ensure technical requirements are met.
• Assist with on-site troubleshooting of customer concerns.
• Coordinate vendor resources to support sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
