Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking an Account Representative I to expand their book of business by converting competitors and growing medium-sized accounts into large accounts. This role emphasizes customer satisfaction through proactive contact and clear expectations.

You will generate new leads, perform on-site customer interactions, prepare customized quotes, and coordinate with vendor resources to win deals. Travel is required; a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 0–2 years experience or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence customers and manage expectations.
• Ability to generate new leads and build relationships.
• Willingness to travel and operate on-site with customers.

Responsibilities

• Increase revenue through new business and growth of existing accounts.
• Generate new leads by networking, cold calling, researching directories and online sources.
• Interact face-to-face with customers to foster relationships and satisfaction.
• Prepare customized quotes based on complex customer requirements.
• Deliver sales presentations and ensure technical requirements are met.
• Assist with on-site troubleshooting and coordinate vendor resources to support sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
