Job summary

Motion Industries seeks an Account Representative I to grow the book of business by converting competitors and expanding medium-sized accounts into large, long-term partnerships. You will maintain customer contact and manage expectations to ensure satisfaction.

Expect to generate new leads via networking and research, present solutions, coordinate vendor resources, and support on-site troubleshooting. A bachelor’s degree and 0–2 years of experience are typical; travel is required and MS Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience typical for this role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of industrial products is a plus.
• Ability to influence customers while maintaining relationships.

Responsibilities

• Increases revenue by generating new business and expanding existing accounts.
• Generates leads through networking, cold calling, and research.
• Interacts face-to-face with customers to build relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Interprets customer requirements for customized quoting.
• Delivers compelling sales presentations and ensures technical requirements are met.
• Assists with on-site troubleshooting and coordinates vendor resources.
