Job summary

Motion Industries in Florida is seeking an Account Representative I to grow its book of business by converting competitors and expanding medium-sized accounts into large accounts. You will maintain customer contact, deliver customized quotes, and coordinate vendor resources to support sales.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 0–2 years of experience, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to sales. Travel to client sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and zero to two years of experience, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of industrial products: power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence customers and maintain relationships.
• Ability to take initiative, multitask, and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Grow revenue by generating new business and expanding existing accounts.
• Generate leads via networking, cold calling, and research.
• Interact face-to-face with customers to build strong relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Understand customer requirements for customized quoting and deliver effective sales presentations.
• Coordinate vendor resources to support sales and assist with on-site troubleshooting.
