Job summary

The American Red Cross in Kentucky is seeking a Sales Associate to handle inbound calls, consult on customer needs, and sell training courses and Store products. You will process orders, document cases in Salesforce, and strive to meet revenue targets for training and retail products.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of sales experience in a call center, strong multitasking ability, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma/GED (plus higher education a plus).
• Minimum 1 year sales experience in a Call Center (not required B2C).
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com or similar CRM and MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls for customers interested in training courses or Store products.
• Act as consultant to uncover customer training and product needs.
• Recommend and sell training classes and Store products based on needs.
• Process transactions and place orders through Sales systems.
• Document and update cases in Salesforce with required information.
• Upsell Store products that complement class enrollment.
• Handle returns/exchanges/cancellations per policies.
• Address questions about classes or products.
• Aim to attain Training revenue of $325K/year and Retail revenue of $80K/year.
